Peter Erskine is a big name in moden music, recording with such top artists as Al Jarreau, Diana Krall, Weather Report, John Abercrombie, Santana, Al Di Meola, Jaco Pastorius, Gary Burton, Mike Stern and many more. During his stay in Ljubljana he recorded several tracks with the group Brizani Project for their new CD.

Gibonni, the most famous name of Croatian pop music, is mastering his new double CD in Metro. The name of the first CD is Acoustic and the second is Electric.
Zdravko Colichad a big live concert on Marakana stadium in Belgrade. He chooses Metro to do 5.1 mastering of this huge project.
Meritas also mastered their new album in November. |

| Top macedonian singer Tose Proeski is back in Metro to record a single for his forthcoming CD project Vezi me za sebe. Songwriter, arranger and producer is Miro Buljan, who also works with several famous croatian singers and bands. |

Nov.2006: Chris Eckman back in Metro with norvegian band Draumir
|
Songwriter and producer Chris Eckman, after all these years also our old and dear friend, comes often to Metro, this time with Cornelius from the band Draumir, to overdub a string section for their new album due out in February 2007 (Universal Norway).
A month ago they recorded acoustic piano and choir, and now also the strings.
This is the second project that Draumir records in Metro, with Chris as a producer.
Below are some pictures from the session...
Chris & Carla, the leading force of the famous The Walkabouts from Seattle, also recorded 5 songs for their new project named Zuma (Glitterhouse), due out in February 2007. Their last album Fly High Brave Dreamers was recorded and mastered in Metro, and some of The Walkabout projects, always with Chris as a producer, were also recorded or mixed here.

August 2006: Roger Quested visiting Metro
|

After 17 years Roger Quested visited Metro again.
When we started to build the new Metro Studio back in 1989 we asked Roger to design the studio acoustics for us. The idea came from our friend Thomas from CML Studio in Muenchen, the German distributor of Quested monitoring systems.
Roger spent several days in Ljubljana designig the studio, but he only saw the pictures of the finished work since then. Now he took the opportunity to see the real thing also.
